Terms of service

OwnYou is a handcrafted leather goods atelier based in Chennai, India, selling directly to customers within India through ownyou.in.

An order is confirmed when payment is received and we acknowledge it. We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund — if a hide lot is unavailable, if engraving text is unlawful or offensive, or if delivery details cannot be verified.

All prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes. Delivery within India is free. Prices can change at any time, but never after your order is confirmed.

We produce in one batch each month. Orders confirmed by the 25th are dispatched in the first week of the following month. Dispatch dates are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

You are responsible for the accuracy of engraving text, spelling and any logo artwork you supply, and you confirm you have the right to use it. We share a digital proof for approval; once approved, the engraving is final and the piece is non-returnable except for faults.

Full-grain leather carries scars, grain variation and colour shifts, and darkens with use. These characteristics are not defects and are not grounds for return.

Our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under Indian consumer law.

The OwnYou name, emblem, photography and site content belong to us and may not be reproduced without written permission.
