Privacy policy

This page is maintained by OwnYou to explain, in plain language, what personal information we handle and why.

What we collect

Information you give us when you place an order or contact us: name, delivery address, phone number, email address, engraving text you ask us to apply, and — for corporate orders — company and GST details.

Basic technical information from your visit, such as pages viewed and device type, used to keep the site working well.

How we use it

To make and deliver your order, to send order and dispatch updates over WhatsApp, email or SMS, to answer your questions, to raise invoices, and to keep records required under Indian tax law.

Payments

Card, UPI and net-banking details are entered with our payment processor and are never stored on our systems. We receive only a confirmation of payment and the last digits of the instrument.

Who we share it with

Courier partners, to deliver your parcel; our payment processor, to take payment; and our accountants, for statutory records. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to run the site and remember your preferences. If we add analytics or advertising cookies in future, we will say so here first.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting rules require. Enquiries that don't lead to an order are deleted within two years.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we're not legally required to keep. Email hello@ownyou.in and we'll respond within 30 days.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and access to order records is limited to the people who need it to make and dispatch your order. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.
